Techno-Functional Analyst RecVue
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Techno-Functional Analyst – RecVue with strong expertise in revenue recognition and hands-on experience in implementation Projects. This role involves both functional ownership of revenue accounting processes and technical understanding of system integrations, configurations, and data flows to support accurate and compliant revenue recognition.
The ideal candidate combines solid accounting knowledge (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) with practical experience in RecVue configuration, troubleshooting, and cross-system integrations
Responsibilities:
• Participate in end-to-end RecVue including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Configure and manage Revenue Contracts, Performance Obligations, SSPs, allocation rules, accounting treatments, and revenue recognition schedules in RecVue.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT teams to align revenue recognition processes with business and system requirements.
• Support integrations between RecVue and upstream/downstream systems such as Salesforce, CPQ, ERP (Oracle/NetSuite), or billing platforms.
• Assist with data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and audit support during implementation and revenue close cycles.
• Support month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including troubleshooting revenue discrepancies and reporting issues.
• Analyze and resolve functional and technical issues related to RecVue configurations, revenue processing, and reporting.
• Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, process flows, and configuration documentation.
• Conduct user training sessions, knowledge transfer, and provide ongoing production support.
• Stay updated on RecVue product enhancements, revenue accounting standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with RecVue support, or revenue accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with subscription-based, usage-based, or complex multi-element revenue models.
• Good understanding of data flows, integrations, and system dependencies in revenue systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a consulting environment.
• Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle ERP, NetSuite, or billing platforms is a plus.
• CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification is an added advantage.
